Typically worn over the left shoulder, the Fly Plaid adds an extra aspect of rich history to your outfit. Made from 100% worsted wool and available in our range of Mist tartans to pair with your kilt, these beautifully crafted Fly Plaids are a striking finishing touch for your outfit.

In the formative years of the kilt, the original kilt was an untailored, large piece of cloth literally known as a ‘Big Wrap’ that was wrapped around the body and flicked over the shoulder. The modern Fly Plaid combines the classic design of the Highland outfit with a contemporary, stylish twist for a truly authentic look.

Measuring 120cm x 120cm, and with a 4cm fringe along the edge, the Fly Plaid is worn over your shoulder and attached to the shoulder of your jacket. To complete the look, be sure to check out our .
